Summary

Certain knowledge can become vital for certain aspects of the work, but it might not be available within the people in the organisation. You might not want to hire external consultants every time that knowledge is needed. The Knowledge infusion helps to bring the knowledge on board so that you can then apply it whereever and whenever needed and no longer be dependent on external consultants.

Explanation

I have majored in Knowledge Management. I have been training people since 1996. Starting at university, I have tought university students. In my professional life, I have trained business people in IT systems and business knowledge. I use this experience to give unforgettable training sessions with the aim to infuse the knowledge into the people and the organisation so that it will remain there for an indefinite period.

I can train people in the following areas:

Computer and software skills for end users.
Basic knowledge about any of the Business areas.
Basic knowledge about applying the standardised methods; Prince II, ISO standards, BPMN, ITIL
Learning to cope with cultural differences.
Train other people in any of the above.

Method

We first create an organisation specific training plan. This plan defines who needs what knowledge. We can define who needs to train others over time. We also define repetitve training (for instance an annual repetition or training for newcomers). For computer based training, we define how this training will be given and how the material will be hosted.

The next is to prepare training session material; presentation material, reference handbooks, exercise material. When this is completed and reviewed by you, we are ready to set the plan in motion.

Classroom or web based sessions are held to train all the people. Attendance and performance records will be maintained so that you have a clear view on the progress.

After the initial training period, a presentation will be given so that you can see the outcome and any need for further steps.
